For years, tales abounded of charming, noble highwaymen: robbers who entertained as they stole. They had a smile for the gentlemen and a wink for the ladies as they held up their coach at knifepoint. Maybe the lady could keep those pearls in return for a kiss? After handing over her rings of course. Those tales ceased a while ago. The reason? The O'Grung Gang ate the highwaymen. This solved two problems facing the goblins: competition for traveler's purses and obtaining the provisions necessary to survive in the wild. The mountain passes linking Accord to points east are approaching 'No go' status as the knights, stuck fighting Asperity in the far south, lack the numbers to root them out.
